Character design requires finding the soul of the mascot before touching a 3D workspace. Through iterative sketching, I explored variations in posture, jawlines, and uniform integration to strike the perfect balance between classic Texas swagger and the modern NFL.

MATERIAL STUDIES & SYSTEM

Moving beyond 2D graphics, we engineered a specific material specification to ground the rebrand in authenticity.

 

Materials like western-legacy felt, performance-mesh, stamped metal, and distressed leather were curated for their tactile story and performance capability, ensuring a consistent premium experience from official uniforms to official fan capsules.

A truly scalable system considers every demographic.

 

While the primary masks embody gameday aggression, we developed a secondary, approachable 'Fan-Friendly' persona specifically for youth apparel, community outreach, and official family-centric merchandising.

A DEFINITIVE LIBRARY

 

A comprehensive rebrand means considering every touchpoint.

 

We developed a robust logo system ensuring maximum consistency from high-definition jumbotrons to official partner applications, giving Cowboys Nation a character built for the future.

GAME DAY & OUTREACH DIFFERENCE

 

When the lights go on, the brand needs to perform at a massive scale. We translated the high-fidelity 3D asset into dominant stadium graphics engineered to command the environment and energize 80,000 fans.

THE CHALLENGE

The Dallas Cowboys are a historic NFL franchise, but their legacy mascot felt disconnected from the modern game.

 

We needed to evolve a family-friendly caricature into an intimidating sideline enforcer that reflects the true grit of Texas.

THE SOLUTION

A ground-up re-engineering of the Rowdy persona.

 

We stripped away the cartoonish softness and injected authentic attitude, blending athletic armor with classic western heritage to create a high-impact brand ambassador built to command the gridiron.
